This programme mandate is to establish a multi-sectoral coordinated approach to MDGs and plan 2030 programming. The main concept with the programme revolves around future financial sustainability of DMT and enhancement of audio-visual training in urban informal settlements. Regarding the training, DMT wants to partner with Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) and the government. A wayto solve the issues vis-à-vis the financial sustainable programme is to register a separate company entity under the umbrella of DMT with same board of trustees. The company can then bid for media-related tenders and capacity building funding, for instance, KIMC-DMT project, etc.

The added value of this program is that it will create economic and social value; minimise more social problems and reach people in need; reduced grant funds since one of the key activities is the development of Social Enterprise fee-based service; and create financial sustainability possibility to exist over an extended time period.
