Kevina Power Njoroge
Kevina Power Njoroge is the Chair of Dunia Moja Trust (DMT), and has a Masters in Conflict Management & Partnership Development from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Health Studies from the University of Regina. Kevina specializes in assisting organizations and social initiatives integrate monitoring and evaluation processes, in order to inform decision-making and performance. Past clients include the Government of Canada, Canada Food Banks, University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, and the Environmental Youth Alliance. Before starting her own consultancy, she worked with the Canadian Red Cross, McCreary Youth Foundation and UN Habitat. She is currently Democratic Governance Regional Programme Specialist, UNDP/UNECA.
Daniel Maina
Daniel Maina is the Treasurer of DMT, and has over 8 years experience in Financial Management in non-profit institutions. He has previously been involved in project accounting for projects within Africa for several donors including JICA, UNHCR, EU, SIDA, Norwegian Church Aid, and USAID. He has experience in computerization of financial systems, specifically with enterprise resource planning systems.
He has experience in capacity building of financial teams, and providing financial and administrative backstopping and support to country office finance personnel in implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Daniel works for CAFS and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Finance) from the University of Nairobi and is a CPA K and a member of ICPAK.
Apoti Musyoka Makove
Apoti Musyoka Makove is the Executive Director/Programmes Coordinator and Secretary of DMT. Apoti holds a BA and MA (double major) in Communications and Cultural Studies from Roskilde University (Denmark). Apoti has worked as a journalist, media consultant, film producer and film critic and is a columnist for the Danish national newspaper, Information, writing mainly on human rights and governance in Africa. He has written essays and articles for and presented papers on social and political documentary trends and their influence on African political discourse at various seminars and conferences.
